The water in the lake is often very clear, often offering 50 feet of visibility, and you can go as deep as you like. Eagle Marina, has 5 docks that extend out into the lake. Two of the docks are quite large and are a nice place for non-divers to spend time.

Lake Pend Oreille contain many species of fish, but around the marina there are not many to be seen. The exception is under marina docks. Under the docks redside shiner and smallmouth bass are common, and you may see the occational bridgelip sucker.
