On SW 170th Street there is a small parking area. From there, a gate with a paved road down leads down to the beach.

Description

The gravel beach at this location makes getting in and out of the water simple. Once in the water, the bottom gravel gets deeps slowly. After going a little way out, there is a little seaweed on the bottom. After that it drops off more steeply. At about 45 ft, there is e artificial reefs consisting of tires tied together. On the tire reef the largest numbers of fish congregate.

At this site, are likely the see rockfish, jellyfish, flounder, ratfish, painted greenlings, crabs, sea cucumbers, starfish, and many other creatures.

Hazards

Boats are probably the biggest hazard at this location.
